A stylish shooter seasoned with dark humor. Killing Time is far from a shallow grave. Its depth is thoughtfully crafted. Problem-solving and tactical thinking take center stage.
In *Killing Time*, the protagonist is a former Egyptology student determined to uncover the truth behind a vanished Egyptian relic. The ancient "Water-Clock of Thoth" was uncovered by his Egyptology professor, Dr. Hargrove, but the artifact disappeared shortly after a visit from the expedition’s benefactor, Tess Conway. Tess, a wealthy heiress to her family’s estate on Matinicus Isle, keeps her loyal allies and hired agents nearby in her quest to harness the Water-Clock’s true power. As the game unfolds, the player learns that Tess has manipulated many to achieve her goals, but at a terrible cost. Something went terribly wrong, turning everyone on the isle into vengeful spirits, demons, or the undead. The opening cinematic of all versions of the game features Boldt Castle on Heart Island in the Thousand Islands region of the Saint Lawrence River as the visual depiction of the Conway Estate.
