Summary

Killzone: Mercenary is a first-person shooter and the second title in the Killzone series designed for handheld consoles. For the first time in a Killzone story mode, players can team up with Helghast troops and ISA operatives, undertaking missions that standard soldiers aren't equipped to handle. In the role of a mercenary, players have the freedom to choose their tactics and equipment to complete their assignments; successful completion earns them payment from their clients. The game makes use of the PS Vita's front touchscreen and back touch panel for enhanced gameplay.

Storyline

Set right after the conclusion of the original Killzone and revisiting key moments from the Killzone trilogy, the game casts players as Arran Danner, a hardened mercenary. Danner, once a soldier in the UCA, isn't hesitant to accept lucrative missions from both the ISA and the Helghast.
