Summary

Aerial warfare and valor reimagined in the skies of World War I. Cruising north along the road from Lille to take out a German observation balloon, I give a wave to the infantrymen huddled in their sodden trenches. Poor souls. They’d give anything to be up here, I reckon! Over there! Could it be? The rascal in the red Fokker! My good friend Bates had warned me his weapon was stuck, but that heartless Boche shot him down anyway. The Fokker’s heading east. Probably heading home, low on fuel. The balloon can wait. This won’t last long.
