Koutetsu Reiiki: Steeldom, often referred to simply as "Steeldom," is a third-person arena action game and the sequel to Reverthion, developed by the same team. Its gameplay closely resembles that of Sega's Virtual On, featuring eight distinct characters, each with their own special moves and abilities. The game offers a solo campaign with unique endings for every character, along with a two-player split-screen battle mode. The Saturn edition also includes system link functionality, allowing two players to compete across separate consoles.
Following a massive supernatural war, one of the last remaining forms of entertainment is a combat tournament featuring users of "Ryoga," a mystical energy that materializes souls into mechanized battle armor. Eight fighters step into the arena—some chasing glory and riches, others hoping for a better future, and a few who battle purely for the excitement.
