

L.A. Rush is the fourth entry in the Rush video game series. It launched in North America for PlayStation 2 and Xbox on October 10, 2005, and in Europe on October 21. The PC edition hit European shelves on November 4. A PlayStation Portable version, titled simply Rush, was released on October 30, 2006. Numerous details about the game were showcased at E3 in May 2005. The game offers open-world gameplay with racing mechanics reminiscent of Need for Speed: Underground 2. Players can set a specific location on the GPS map, which then appears on the in-game radar. The game includes voice work from Orlando Jones, Bill Bellamy, and Twista. In addition to the console and PC releases, it was also set to be available on the Gizmondo platform.
