Storyline

Mount Grimrock: A colossal peak rises above the clouds, a rugged monolith that has endured for centuries, far beyond the reach of recorded time. Now a forsaken place, it is only recalled when secrets must be buried and lives cast aside. An airship labors to ascend as it drifts toward the summit... Four convicts, shackled in iron, step off the vessel. The court condemns them for grievous acts of betrayal—but by the king’s decree, their sins will be erased at the summit of Mount Grimrock. Their ultimate test has begun. Many have been granted clemency here, yet none have ever returned to claim their freedom. They stand at the edge of the world, with only the abyss and judgment below. As they are cast into the yawning chasm at the mountain’s crown, their guilt is lifted. All who came before have been swallowed by the depths, but can they defy fate, navigate the darkness, and reach the liberation waiting at the foot of Mount Grimrock?
