Storyline

While searching for signs of life on a remote alien world, an astronaut stumbles upon a forgotten Russian settlement. At first, he believes the entire mission is a deception—until a mysterious young woman rescues him from a bizarre and lethal occurrence. *Lifeless Planet* is a third-person action-adventure game that blends a retro sci-fi narrative with stunning environments, capturing the essence of classic action-adventure titles. After crash-landing on the planet, the astronaut finds that the world, supposedly teeming with life, is actually a desolate wasteland. As he searches for his missing crew, he uncovers a shocking truth: humans have visited this planet long before him. When he stumbles upon a ghost town reminiscent of Soviet-era Russia, he begins to question the nature of his mission. Was his faster-than-light journey somehow a time warp? Or is this all part of a bizarre Cold War-era deception? During his journey, the astronaut encounters a Russian woman named Aelita, who somehow thrives in the planet's deadly atmosphere. A strange natural occurrence causes the ground beneath her to glow green due to her skin. The player must follow these luminous trails to navigate the planet’s perilous terrain and evade its deadly dangers. Is Aelita guiding him toward salvation—or toward a deadly fate?
