Summary

Little Nightmares is a horror-themed puzzle-platform adventure game created by Tarsier Studios and released by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Taking place in an enigmatic world, the game follows Six, a small girl with an appetite for freedom, as she navigates the Maw—a rusted, eerie ship teeming with grotesque and deformed creatures. The Enhanced Edition builds on the original by introducing support for 4K resolution at 60 FPS, along with upgraded visual features such as RTX reflections, more detailed water effects, extra particle effects, and volumetric lighting. Players can also select between Quality Mode and Performance Mode, letting them focus on either graphical detail or smoother frame rates, depending on their system and preferences.

Storyline

Little Nightmares follows Six, a young child wrapped in a raincoat who is trapped inside a strange, submerged ship known as the Maw. The Maw is home to twisted, monstrous creatures that hunt the vulnerable. As Six moves through eerie and unsettling settings, she must solve challenges and evade capture. The experience slowly uncovers the bleak and suffocating reality of the Maw and its terrifying dwellers. Motivated by hunger and survival, Six’s journey mirrors the predatory cycle that defines the world she is caught in.
