Prepar3D, commonly abbreviated as P3D but officially known as Lockheed Martin Prepar3D, is a simulation software developed by Lockheed Martin in 2009. It was launched as a commercial product, derived from the Microsoft Flight Simulator X codebase. The software has seen five major releases, with the latest version, Version 5 (v5), coming out in 2020.
