Majin Tensei is the inaugural title in the Majin Tensei series and was originally launched for the Super Famicom. The game and its sequels introduce a turn-based strategy element to the traditional Megami Tensei gameplay style. In the late 1990s, ethnic conflicts erupt worldwide, causing massive casualties and isolating much of the globe. Decades later, in 202X, a young boy residing in Neider Tokyo, specifically in sector D-03, suddenly receives a strange Demon Summoning Program on his COMP from a mysterious sender named TAKEUCHI, immediately summoning demons. After battling his way through to a mysterious structure, he discovers a young woman in cryogenic stasis, who then decides to accompany him. The game features three possible endings: a bad ending, a standard ending, and the best ending.
