Summary

Marathon is a PvP-centric extraction shooter taking place on the enigmatic world of Tau Ceti IV. In the game, players take control of Runners—cybernetically enhanced mercenaries built to endure the planet’s extreme conditions and uncover the secrets of the vanished colony that once thrived there. Whether playing alone or in teams of three, players will hunt for elusive alien relics, along with precious loot, weapons, and equipment to expand their arsenal and enhance their gear.

Storyline

A colossal ghost ship drifts in low orbit above a forgotten colony. The 30,000 who once lived here have vanished without a word. Bizarre transmissions whisper of hidden relics, ancient AI reawakening, and untold wealth buried in the dark. You are a cybernetic mercenary—a Runner—heading for Tau Ceti IV. You're one of many, operating alone or with a team, braving the unknown and confronting the unthinkable in a battle for survival, fortune, glory... and notoriety. Whose name will echo through the stars?
