Mario's Time Machine is an educational game and the follow-up to Mario is Missing! Designed to introduce younger players to fundamental world history, it marks the final entry in the Mario Discovery Series before the line was discontinued. Along with Hotel Mario, it is one of the few titles in the Mario franchise where Mario speaks with full dialogue as the main character. The goal of the game is to restore historical artifacts to their correct time periods using the central hub. Upon entering a specific era, players must explore and engage with the locals to gather information about the artifact, the time period, and the historical figure associated with it.
