Summary

Marvel’s Avengers is an action-adventure title crafted by Crystal Dynamics and released by Square Enix in 2020. The game offers a solo campaign and team-based missions, blending story-rich experiences with cooperative multiplayer elements. The plot centers on Kamala Khan as she works to bring the Avengers back together in the aftermath of a devastating incident. Players have the ability to take on the roles of various heroes, each offering distinct powers and progression paths. Marvel's Avengers: Deluxe Edition comes with the special Obsidian Outfit pack for the Avengers, featuring Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, Hulk, and Ms. Marvel, plus six unique Obsidian-themed nameplates for added character customization. This version also grants players 72 hours of early access to the game.

Storyline

Marvel’s Avengers begins with A-Day, a celebration in San Francisco marking the grand opening of the Avengers West Coast Headquarters and a cutting-edge helicarrier. But the festivities take a dark turn when a catastrophic event leads to widespread destruction. Accused of the disaster, the Avengers break apart. Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are consumed by guilt over the devastation and the death of Captain America. In the five years since A-Day, the absence of the team leaves the world vulnerable. A new force emerges—Advanced Idea Mechanics, or AIM. AIM promotes the belief that science, not Super Heroes, is the true solution to global safety. Teenager Kamala begins to develop incredible shape-shifting and healing abilities after being exposed to Terrigen Mists during the A-Day incident. With the Avengers no longer a unit and AIM working to turn the public against Super Heroes, Kamala keeps her powers a secret. Kamala’s deep devotion to the Avengers, sharp mind, curiosity, and optimistic spirit lead her to uncover a startling secret. As she learns to control her powers, she finds the strength and the path to reunite Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
