Summary

Mass Effect: Genesis 2 is an interactive backstory comic that serves as an updated version of the original Mass Effect: Genesis, which was made for Mass Effect 2. Genesis 2 functions as an introduction to Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 for newcomers to the series, offering an overview of the first two games in the Mass Effect trilogy and letting players make key story decisions similar to those in the original games. Players are given the option to start Genesis 2 after creating their character, though using it is not required.
