Summary
Master of the Lamps is among the earliest music-based video games, drawing inspiration from the stories in One Thousand and One Nights. The gameplay switches between two different modes. In the first, the prince pilots a flying carpet through a twisting tunnel toward a genie's lair. In practice, this involves guiding the carpet through diamond-shaped gates as they appear; if the player fails, the prince is sent back to the start of the tunnel.
