McDonaldland

Summary

McDonaldland is a 1992 platform game created and released by Virgin Interactive. It first launched on the Nintendo Entertainment System in North America in February 1992, and later in Europe in May 1993 through Ocean Software. As a licensed title for the McDonald's fast food brand, the game regularly includes McDonald's logos and characters from its restaurant branding and TV commercials to aid in the storyline and provide in-game boosts. The game follows two young adventurers who enter the magical realm of McDonaldland to recover Ronald McDonald's enchanted satchel, which has been taken by the Hamburglar.
