Summary
Mega Man X Collection includes the first six titles in the Mega Man X series. Mega Man X and Mega Man X2 are based on their original SNES versions. Mega Man X3, which was also initially released on the SNES, is presented here in its enhanced 32-bit form as seen on the PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and PC. The final three games are based on their PlayStation versions. All titles now support save files, even those that originally required a password to continue. When loading a saved game, players are still shown the original password entry screen, complete with the correct password to access their progress. Mega Man Battle & Chase is a game that becomes available after completing the first three titles. It is a classic kart-racing game from the series that was never released in North America. The collection also includes unlockable artwork and music.
