Summary
During a test explosion of a gamma bomb, scientist Bruce Banner dashes to rescue teenager Rick Jones, who has entered the restricted testing area. Banner shoves Jones into a ditch to protect him, but is struck by the explosion, taking in a huge dose of gamma radiation. He later wakes up in a medical facility, apparently unharmed, but that night he transforms into a hulking gray figure that smashes through the wall and flees.
