Summary

Midway Arcade Treasures is a compilation featuring 24 classic arcade games, developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Midway for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC. Midway later continued the series with additional collections that included different titles: Midway Arcade Treasures 2, Midway Arcade Treasures 3, the portable Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play, and the Windows-only Midway Arcade Treasures Deluxe Edition. Following Midway's bankruptcy, Warner Bros. acquired the rights and released a new arcade compilation titled Midway Arcade Origins for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It includes 29 selected games from Volumes 1 and 2, along with Super Off Road from Volume 3. The compilation also features Vindicators Part II, which replaces the original Vindicators from the first Midway Arcade Treasures.
