Summary
Mike Tyson Boxing is a 3D boxing simulation centered around one of the most famous fighters of the '80s and '90s. The game includes three primary gameplay modes: "Vs." mode delivers quick, arcade-style bouts where the defeated fighter exits the ring and the winner stays to take on the next opponent. "Showcase" mode supports up to eight players and eight computer-controlled boxers in a series of rotating tournament matches. In "World" mode, players begin as a rookie and work their way up through the ranks, fighting contender after contender until they ultimately challenge the champion for the title. Mike Tyson Boxing includes more than 90 boxers and 16 top-tier arenas.
Characters can interact with the ring environment, and injuries such as blood, sweat, and bruises are visually rendered on the fighters. The scoring system mirrors real boxing rules, and a special score meter helps players monitor their progress during intense matches.
