Summary
This is a solo platform adventure starring Hipopo, a platypus (nicknamed a hippo) who must battle through numerous densely populated levels filled with enemies in search of his lost girlfriend, while also rescuing fellow platypuses along the way. Hipopo wields water bombs that he can hurl at foes to drench and weaken them. Once soaked, enemies can be kicked to destroy them entirely. However, if left un-kicked, these enemies will dry off and regain their strength after a short while. The level design includes moving platforms, crumbling floors, boats, and waterwheels. In some levels, small plants appear that can be "watered," causing them to grow and form new platforms. Fittingly for a game where water is the primary weapon, many enemies and the later stages feature a fire theme. Players can also collect cakes and other items to boost their score.
