Summary

MLB 09: The Show is a baseball simulation video game created by SCE San Diego Studio and released by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Portable. It is part of the Major League Baseball game series on PlayStation platforms. MLB 09: The Show marks the fourth installment in the MLB: The Show series. In the game, players can manage one or all of the athletes on a Major League Baseball team or select Minor League Baseball squads, depending on the chosen mode. Depending on the mode, players can take control of a team for a single game, an entire season, or a full franchise. The game also allows players to create a custom player and guide them through their career.
