Summary
The MLB (Year#) series is a collection of Major League Baseball video games developed by Sony Computer Entertainment and published under their 989 Sports imprint. Initially created by Sony Interactive Studios America, the team later became 989 Studios before eventually merging into Sony Computer Entertainment America. After the merger, the games continued to be released under the 989 Sports brand until 2006. From that point on, MLB titles from SCEA were produced by SCEA San Diego and launched under the MLB: The Show series.
