In *MLB Front Office Manager*, players step into the shoes of a baseball general manager and guide their career over 30 years with the ultimate aim of earning a spot in the Baseball Hall of Fame. The GM is evaluated across eight key areas, including North American scouting, international scouting, pro-league scouting, player development, trade strategy, contract negotiation, owner relations, and leadership. Each GM also has a unique background—such as former manager, attorney, business executive, ex-player, or scout—that influences their skill set. A GM's abilities evolve throughout their career based on performance, and they must meet seasonal objectives set by their team. Players will make crucial decisions like evaluating spring training, handling trade offers, nurturing rookie talent, and even bidding for Japanese players. The game also features advanced AI-controlled GMs with distinct motivations and styles.
