A turn-based RPG starring the legendary Peach Boy from Japanese folklore, this title is an enhanced remake of the original Momotarou Densetsu game. It was released just before the official sequel, also available on the PC Engine. Momotarou Densetsu Turbo ("Peach Boy Legend Turbo") is the second entry in the Momotarou Densetsu series, though it essentially serves as a reimagined version of the first game originally released for the Famicom. The game explores the origins of Momotarou, a baby discovered inside a giant peach by a kind couple who found it floating down a river, and follows his journey as he meets his animal allies and battles the Oni on their island. The story sets the stage for the sequel, Momotarou Densetsu II, which was later released exclusively for the PC Engine a few months afterward.
