Summary
Mortal Kombat 4 is a one-on-one fighting game, much like the other titles in the Mortal Kombat series, but it marks the first entry to feature 3D character models. At the start, players can select from 15 different fighters, with more becoming available later through unlocks. Several characters from earlier games return, including Scorpion, Sub Zero, Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, and Johnny Cage, while new additions like Shinook—the primary villain of this game—Fujin, Jarek, and Kai also join the roster. Goro makes a comeback as a boss character.
