It brings together three iconic 2D fighting titles from the Mortal Kombat series: Mortal Kombat (1992), Mortal Kombat II (1993), and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (1995). This game came about following the cancellation of an earlier, more ambitious project known as Mortal Kombat HD Arcade Kollection.
