Summary
Prior to the official reveal of Mortal Kombat: Arcade Kollection, various online retailers began listing Mortal Kombat HD: Arcade Kollection. It was intended to feature Mortal Kombat 1, Mortal Kombat II, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, just like the final release. However, unlike the version that ultimately came out, the scrapped HD edition also included new audio and entirely refreshed visuals, with new actors performing the characters in high definition.
