Motor Toon Grand Prix is a racing video game created and published by Sony Computer Entertainment of Japan (SCEJ). It launched on the PlayStation in Japan on December 16, 1994. The game was crafted by Kazunori Yamauchi and a team inside SCEJ that later became Polyphony Digital, the studio responsible for the realistic racing franchise Gran Turismo. It stands out for its distinctive art style, designed by Japanese artist Susumu Matsushita. The game is often mistaken for Motor Toon Grand Prix 2, which was released under the same name in North America, as the original title was never made available outside Japan.
