Myst IV: Revelation
Summary
Myst IV: Revelation is the fourth entry in the Myst computer game series, created and released by Ubisoft. Similar to Myst III: Exile, Revelation blends pre-rendered visuals with digital video, while also incorporating real-time 3D elements to enhance the sense of realism. The story of Revelation concludes unresolved threads from the original Myst. The player is called upon by Atrus, a man who crafts connections to other worlds, known as Ages, through special linking books. Nearly two decades prior, Atrus' two sons had nearly destroyed all of his linking books and were subsequently imprisoned; now, Atrus wants to determine if their time in confinement has changed them. The player journeys to each brother's prison in an attempt to rescue Atrus' daughter Yeesha from the brothers' scheme.
