NBA 2K10 is a basketball video game inspired by the National Basketball Association, created by Visual Concepts and distributed by 2K Sports. It launched on October 6, 2009, for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PSP, and on October 12, 2009, for Windows. The Wii edition became available in North America on November 9, 2009, and in Europe on November 27. Kobe Bryant graces the cover of the game. This title marks the first NBA 2K installment to appear on the PSP and Wii platforms, and the first to be available on a Nintendo system since NBA 2K3 for the GameCube. The Wii version features platform-specific controls and adjustments but otherwise mirrors the Xbox 360 and PS3 editions, including all the modes—both online and offline—of the current-generation versions. The PSP version is largely a port of the PlayStation 2 edition, though it does not support online multiplayer. Artists such as Kanye West, Twista, Pitbull, The Game, David Banner, and Asher Roth made appearances in the game.
