Summary
NBA 2K2 is a basketball video game and the third entry in the NBA 2K series. It was created by Visual Concepts and released by Sega Sports. The game launched on October 24, 2001, for the Sega Dreamcast, and was later adapted for the Sony PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, and Xbox in 2002. NBA 2K2 introduced new street courts such as Mosswood, Fonde Rec Center, and Venice Beach, while also retaining the classic street courts from its predecessor, NBA 2K1. It marked the first time an NBA 2K title was available on multiple platforms and was also the final game in the series to appear on the Sega Dreamcast. The cover star of the game is Allen Iverson.
