Summary
NBA IN THE ZONE '98 is a classic five-on-five basketball title that continues the legacy of its earlier releases, NBA IN THE ZONE and NBA IN THE ZONE 2. The original installment focused heavily on an arcade-style presentation and gameplay. NBA IN THE ZONE '98 takes the series in a new direction by shifting toward a more realistic basketball simulation. New features include a real-time play-calling system and detailed stat tracking that not only records season-long statistics but also highlights league leaders in different categories. You can also challenge a friend in Versus mode to see who truly has the zone; using two multitaps, the game supports up to eight players at once.
