Summary
The GameCube edition includes Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach as playable characters, who are referred to within the game as the "Nintendo All-Stars." This inclusion stems from an agreement between EA and Nintendo that allowed EA to feature Nintendo characters and intellectual property in select titles; SSX Tricky was another game to benefit from this partnership. A basketball court inspired by the Mario series, called the Nintendo Court, is also present in the GameCube version.
