Summary
Released on April Fools' Day 2021, Neco Drop 2 is the follow-up to the 2020 April Fools' game Neco Drop: Cat Friends Nation. The game is connected to Street Fighter V and was available on the Street Fighter V official website. Every character in the game is a feline version of a Street Fighter V fighter. The game mechanics closely resemble those of Bejeweled or other "SameGame"-style games. Players are given a set number of blocks to eliminate, and by clicking a tile, all connected tiles of the same color are removed. If you clear the required number of tiles within the allowed moves, you win. If you run out of moves, you can place a bet on a pre-recorded Street Fighter V match to earn more turns.
Storyline
You awaken to the shocking realization that you've been turned into a cat. Soon after, a suspicious-looking police cat approaches and leads you into town, clearly wary of your presence. As you explore, you come to understand that this world is ruled entirely by cats. An elder cat notices your human origins and explains that if you make friends with every cat in the town, you may have a chance to regain your human form and return to your original world.
