Summary
Nintendo brings the action to the football field with *NES Play Action Football*. Although the company didn't obtain the official NFL license for this title, it did partner with the NFL Players Association, allowing the game to feature 8 teams—each named after their respective NFL cities—populated by real professional athletes from the 1989 season. Players can even switch in backup athletes for key positions (QB, RB, WR, TE, and FS/SS) when their starting players tire out.
