New Ghostbusters II is an action video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System created and released by HAL Laboratory in 1990 in Japan and 1991 in the PAL region. The NES edition was never made available in North America because of licensing conflicts with Activision, leaving North American NES gamers with only Activision's version of Ghostbusters II.
