Summary
NFL Xtreme is an officially licensed NFL game featuring all 30 teams and their real-life stadiums. It loosely mimics American football, using a five-on-five format with an arcade-style approach that ignores traditional rules. Quarterbacks can effortlessly launch 90-yard passes, defenders deliver powerful tackling animations, and offensive players can use spin moves or turbo boosts to dodge or leap over defenders. Fouls like late hits and pass interference are ignored, and taunting or trash talking is encouraged. To emphasize intensity, opponents who are seriously injured can be sidelined for the entire season. Gameplay includes exhibition matches, a full regular season, and playoff series. Detailed player stats are available, and you can sign, release, or design your own players to build your roster.
