Storyline

Margaret "Mae" Borowski is a 20-year-old former college student who returns to her childhood home of Possum Springs, a town reeling from the shutdown of its coal mines and a struggling economy. She reconnects with her old circle of friends, including the brooding yet sharp-witted Beatrice "Bea" Santello, the energetic and rebellious anarchist Greggory "Gregg" Lee, and Gregg's soft-spoken, humble boyfriend Angus Delaney. Mae also discovers that another of her former friends, Casey Hartley, has vanished under mysterious circumstances.
