Summary
Night Striker (ナイトストライカー) is an arcade game created by Taito. It's a futuristic rail shooter that plays much like Sega's Space Harrier, but with the player controlling a hovercraft instead of a character. The game was released on the Sega Mega-CD in 1993, where its visuals were simplified to suit the console's less powerful hardware. It later appeared on the Sega Saturn in 1996 as Night Striker S (ナイトストライカーＳ) — largely the same game, but featuring an additional "Saturn Mode" and minor improvements. All versions have remained exclusive to Japan.
