Niji no Silkroad is a role-playing video game released for the Famicom, the Japanese version of the NES. It was created by NHK and published by Victor Interactive Software, now known as Marvelous Entertainment, in 1991. The game was exclusive to Japan. In the game, players take on the role of the main hero, a prince from LittleLand who has been exiled and recently discovered his royal lineage. To restore his rightful place on the throne, the prince must gather seven fragments of the Rainbow Mirror and confront the usurper, Zrool. These fragments are spread across South Asia, and the prince must engage in trade to travel to each location. Once the mirror is complete, the prince uses it to reveal Zrool as a fraud and reclaim his kingdom.
