Summary
This action-adventure game is presented in a third-person, pseudo-3D style, where all in-game characters and objects are fully 3D rendered, while the surrounding environments are pre-rendered. During gameplay, the Nintendo DS is held horizontally, similar to *Hotel Dusk: Room 215* and *Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day!*. The left screen displays the map of the current area, while the right screen shows the main action for right-handed players, or vice versa for left-handed players. Six months after the events of *Ninja Gaiden*, Ryu Hayabusa has restored the Hayabusa Village to its former glory. When Momiji, a fellow villager and skilled kunoichi, is captured by the Black Spider Ninja Clan, Ryu must embark on a mission to rescue her while also uncovering the hidden truths behind the enigmatic Dark Dragonstones and their connection to the Dragon Lineage.
