First Contact is an official Oculus experience crafted exclusively for the Oculus Quest. Immerse yourself in the wonder of VR presence, where you’ll explore moments that feel as real as they are wildly imaginative. We’ve created a magical world filled with toys and a friendly robot companion—make a new friend, then touch, tap, bounce, hold, and throw objects as you play together. Oculus Rex developed First Contact, the team behind Dreamdeck, Farlands, Prologue, and the original Toybox demo. Drawing inspiration from the 80s—a magical era when computers and game consoles transitioned from science fiction to everyday life—we aimed to capture the sense of limitless possibility that defined the decade.
