Summary
Rainbow Rain fell in a steady cascade. The island is transforming, propelled by the determination of its youth, led by Akaza. Among the White, only women exist. Thus, the wedding of Olympia, a rare and cherished White, is met with great anticipation. She, too, is certain she will find her destined partner. One day, an Outsider is washed up on the shores of Tennyo Island, a man whose hair color marks him as one of the White. Though his life had seemingly ended, he appeared to be merely sleeping. The following day, he awoke. He had faced "death," yet it felt like a fleeting dream. This man, who should not belong in this world, began to uncover the "curse" afflicting the island's people. Why did the sea allow him to come? What will his arrival mean for the island?
