Summary

I was living my best, stylish life as a career-driven woman, but after a wild night of drinks, I woke up married to a coworker!? A kiss at the door, a ring on my hand... I wasn't supposed to feel anything for a marriage of convenience, but why does my heart race? After exchanging vows and signing the marriage certificate, can true love actually grow from a fake marriage?

Storyline

At work, everyone has gathered around to celebrate your marriage, but you're left stunned, skeptical, indifferent, and nursing a pounding headache from drinking too much the night before. You remember what led to these unexpected congratulations. That morning, you received a text from your dad, casually mentioning that your cousin is getting married and that you should find someone and settle down too. You responded with a half-hearted reply, as you're used to hearing this from him. As the day went on, it seemed like everything around you was a reminder of marriage. You don't see marriage as a priority at all and are perfectly happy with your single life. You enjoy your dream job, have time for your hobbies, and are surrounded by friends who keep you company when you feel lonely. Meanwhile, your office is full of high-ranking, eligible men who are the talk of the female staff. Later that night, there's an after-work party. After finishing your shift, you head over. Once again, you're forced to explain that you're not interested in marriage when a tipsy, married manager approaches to give his unsolicited opinion. Ukyo steps in to defend you, agreeing with your views and shutting the man down, who then slinks away. Kunihiro joins you, Ukyo, and your office friend Miyuki in the conversation. You grab a drink, down it quickly, and then excuse yourself to take a call from a client. Back at your desk, you send an email to the client with the information they requested. Just as you're about to return to the party, you feel lightheaded. It turns out the drink you had was extremely strong, and you're now very drunk. In that state, you start reflecting on the constant pressure you've felt all day, which makes you feel uneasy, even though you're content with your current life. But then you think—maybe there's a way out. You consider drafting a contract outlining the terms of a marriage that would satisfy your parents and society while still allowing you to live the life you want. But then you pause. It's probably pointless until someone actually agrees to it. Just then, a man approaches and explains that he's thinking the same thing. In your drunken haze, you somewhat agree and sign the contract. Back in the present, your coworkers are swarming you with congratulations. As they press you for the truth, the man you signed the contract with walks over, places a hand on your waist, and announces that you're his wife and you're moving in together. This man you married is...?
