Summary

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan, commonly referred to as Ouendan, is a rhythm-based video game created by iNiS and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS handheld console in 2005, exclusively in Japan. The game follows a team of cheerleaders who rhythmically support individuals facing various difficulties, all presented in a manga-style format. During each level, players utilize the DS touchscreen to tap on designated spots that appear in sync with a variety of Japanese pop tracks, earning points for precise timing while trying to avoid mistakes that could cause the level to end early. Although it was never officially released in Western countries, it became a sought-after import there, inspiring the development of the Westernized follow-up Elite Beat Agents and a direct sequel in Japan, Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2.
