Summary

A semi-autobiographical 3D puzzle platformer where a young boy named Quico escapes his abusive home and enters a dreamlike favela. There, he must guide a laid-back creature named Monster through the world, aided by his sister and Lula, his robotic doll, all while shielding himself and his friends from Monster's violent outbursts caused by his addiction to poison frogs.

Storyline

Quico's closest companion, Monster, is a massive creature with teeth as sharp as blades, but that doesn't stop Quico from enjoying his company. However, Monster has a serious issue: he's addicted to toxic frogs. The moment one of these frogs crosses his path, Monster devours it and goes into a wild, frog-fueled frenzy that puts everyone, including Quico, in danger. Still, Quico remains devoted to his friend and is determined to help him. In the role of Quico, players will strengthen their bond with Monster by working together to solve puzzles and explore a fantastical, dreamlike world. To succeed in their quest for a cure and rescue their friend, players must learn to harness Monster’s emotions—both positive and destructive—to their advantage.
