Storyline

Parasite Eve is a horror-themed role-playing game centered around Aya Brea, a new recruit in the NYPD. During an opera night in Manhattan, a performer named Melissa undergoes a terrifying metamorphosis that triggers a deadly fire, claiming the lives of most in attendance. Aya, who was present at the event, witnesses the horror and uncovers a link between Melissa’s transformation and a mysterious biological process involving mitochondria. As the narrative progresses, Aya finds herself in a desperate conflict with Eve, a lifeform originating from Melissa’s mitochondria. Eve seeks to eradicate humankind and establish a new ruling species, and Aya must intervene before it’s too late. Throughout her journey, Aya uncovers the secrets of her own unusual biology and her deep connection to the mitochondria. With the assistance of scientist Kunihiko Maeda and NYPD detective Daniel Dollis, Aya confronts Eve and her terrifying creatures in a race to save humanity. The game takes place over six days, each filled with new obstacles and revelations as Aya fights to thwart Eve’s apocalyptic agenda. As she advances, Aya acquires new abilities and taps into the power of her own mitochondria, growing stronger and more capable. In the end, Aya must confront Eve in a climactic battle, where the future of the world is at stake.
