Summary
Persona 2: Innocent Sin is a Japanese role-playing game created and published by Atlus. It serves as the second installment in the Persona series and follows the events of the original Persona. The initial version was not released in Western regions, but the PSP edition was made available in North America and Europe under the name Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2: Innocent Sin. Set in the fictional city of Sumaru, the game centers around a group of students attending Seven Sisters High School. The main character, Tatsuya Suou, and his friends must face a dangerous antagonist known as the Joker, who is spreading reality-altering rumors throughout the city. With the help of their Personas—manifestations of their inner selves—the group works to overcome these threats. The game employs turn-based combat where characters use their Personas to battle demons, and it also includes a Rumor system in which the spread of rumors can impact the story and benefit the characters.
