Summary
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 is a role-playing video game created by Atlus. Players assume the identity of a male high school student who becomes part of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES), a team of students exploring the Dark Hour, a mysterious period between one day and the next that most people don't notice. During this time, the player enters Tartarus, a towering structure filled with Shadows, entities that prey on human thoughts. To combat these Shadows, each SEES member can summon a Persona, a representation of their inner self. Alongside traditional role-playing game features, Persona 3 also incorporates simulation elements, as the main character moves through a school year, building friendships and relationships that enhance the power of their Personas in battle.
